Chitosan is derived from chitin, a substance which occurs naturally in many organisms. Taken as a dietary supplement, Chitosan contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol level. According to a statement by the EFSA, the European Food Safety Authority, this positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 3 grams of chitosan, which is guaranteed if the recommended daily dosage is observed.
To Chitosan we have added Calcium that contributes to a normal function of the digestive enzymes.
Each capsule contains 400 mg chitosan and 60 mg calcium.
Ingredients: Chitosan 61 % (from crustaceans), Calcium Carbonate (bulking agent), Gelatine, Magnesium Stearate (separating agent).
Recommended dose: 4 capsules at midday and evening or before a fatty meal taken with sufficient fluid.
